In response to COVID-19, the Department of Health has worked with Primary Health Networks across Australia to roll out a number of initiatives, including dedicated GP-led Respiratory Clinics, to help combat and control the pandemic.

WentWest, the Western Sydney Primary Health Network, in conjunction with the Kildare Road Medical Centre team, have established The Blacktown Respiratory Clinic.

The primary care respiratory clinic is open daily, and is available to assess, test and diagnose patients with mild to moderate respiratory symptoms, including COVID-19, influenza and pneumonia.

The clinic aims to relieve pressure on both emergency departments (EDs) and local general practices, so EDs can prioritize severe cases and local practices can continue to safely care for patients with non-respiratory related conditions.

The clinic is free for patients and accepts both appointments and walk-ins. It is located in cabins adjacent to the existing Kildare Road Medical Centre, with patient parking available at 48 Kildare Road.

Clinic Address: 36 Kildare Road, Blacktown, NSW 2148
