Our annual Immunisation Bike Competition has officially started. This year, WentWest is celebrating eleven years of running the Immunisation Bike Competition in Western Sydney. Since the annual competition was developed in 2011, there have been 16,422 children immunised through the competition.

How Practices Can Get Involved

Every child who receives their 12-month, 18-month or four-year-old immunisation from a participating practice during the competition period can enter the annual prize draw to win a bike and helmet. It’s not too late for practices in the Western Sydney Primary Health Network region to express their interest in joining the Immunisation Bike Competition 2023.

Participating practices will receive the following campaign materials from our Primary Care Development team:

  • Poster with Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Hindi and Urdu translations
  • Stickers
  • Bravery certificates
  • Colouring sheets

Participating practices are encouraged to help eligible families to sign up for the Competition once their child is immunised via our online patient registration form. This year, we have translated the form to include Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Hindi and Urdu to ensure culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) families can sign up. Once a child is immunised, they will receive a sticker, colouring sheets and a bravery certificate with their name and date of immunisation.
