Almost 450 participants took part in WentWest’s recent Needs Survey, including general practices, allied health professionals, residential aged care homes and commissioned service providers.

As the Western Sydney Primary Health Network, WentWest relies on the Needs Survey to guide service design and drive quality improvement initiatives across Western Sydney. Understanding local needs allows WentWest to develop initiatives and allocate resources that best support health professionals in the region.

Participation numbers were consistent with the previous survey conducted in late 2023, reflecting continued sector engagement and commitment to shaping local health priorities.

Since then, WentWest has implemented several initiatives in response to feedback, including improvements in chronic disease management, MyMedicare changes, and streamlined HealthPathways with more direct access for users.

WentWest thanks everyone who completed the Needs Survey. WentWest is currently reviewing the results and will share a report in the coming weeks.
