Antenatal Shared Care (ANSC) is the division of care of pregnant women between the GP and the hospital antenatal clinic.

Antenatal Shared Care Program

The ANSC Program provides women with options for care throughout their pregnancy. The program also enhances the skills of general practitioners (GPs) caring for women during pregnancy, promoting communication between the GP and the participating hospital.

To participate in the ANSC program, GPs require a current medical registration, availability of equipment to listen to foetal heartbeats and a commitment to the quality improvement program

Details of any upcoming ANSC educational sessions will be made available on our Events Calendar.
