Asthma Resources

Asthma is a serious, long-term condition that affects the airways in the lungs. Approximately one in nine Australians have asthma which is one of the highest rates in the world. The Australian Government considers asthma to be one of its chronic disease health priorities and aims to promote effective asthma care and management incentives such as the Asthma Cycle of Care, GP management plans and team care arrangements.

Asthma Australia has developed a resource library to help health professionals and community members learn about symptom management, referrals, first aid, treatment and asthma in children, pregnancy and older people. The resources include, translated information, an Asthma Action Plan, videos, pamphlets, factsheets and posters.
