The National Cancer Screening Register has suspended all bowel cancer and cervical screening correspondence and bowel screening kits to people residing in areas impacted by the State of Emergency.

These suspensions will last one week from Monday 6th January, to align with the NSW State of Emergency.

National Bowel Screening Program

The NSW Patient Follow up Function will also suspend calls to participants and health professionals in the impacted locations for one week. This will be reviewed on a daily basis and in response to any change to the NSW State of Emergency or actions of the Commonwealth Department of Health.
