The Clinical Council reports to the Board and Executive Leadership Team on opportunities to improve medical and health care services in Western Sydney.

Improving Health Care Access

The Clinical Council champions and informs the creation of locally relevant pathways that are aligned with national priorities to improve quality, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness of patient care and reduce avoidable hospitalisations.

Meeting quarterly, the Clinical Council receives ongoing advice and feedback from local clinicians via the GP Leaders Group, Allied Health Leaders Group and the local GP Associations of Blacktown, Mount Druitt and The Hills.

Members of our Clinical Council must be practising or working in our Western Sydney community. Application to become a member will be through a formal expression of interest process undertaken by the Executive Leadership Team with membership and appointments being determined by the CEO and WentWest Board.
