We’re constantly working towards creating a vision of healthier communities, empowered individuals, sustainable health care workforces and systems.
Understanding Your Needs
As the Western Sydney Primary Health Network, we recognise that building a more sustainable, coordinated health system begins with listening to the needs of our health care professionals.
To guide our service design and delivery, we conduct an annual needs survey to better understand the realities faced by health professionals in our region and find ways to help them provide quality care for our community.
Have Your Say
The 2026 Needs Survey is now open.
This survey provides local General Practices (GPs), Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), Residential Aged Care Homes (RACHs) and Commissioned Service Providers (CSP) with the opportunity to help direct our strategy as a PHN and drive quality improvement initiatives in Western Sydney.
To help streamline questions and input, we have four surveys available for our different health professional cohorts. Each survey is available via the buttons below this section.
- General practitioners, practice nurses, practice managers and staff are invited to complete the GP Needs Survey
- We invite all AHPs to complete the AHP Needs Survey
- We invite all staff who work in a RACH to complete the survey
- We also invite all CSPs to complete the CSP Needs Survey
Survey closes: 7 April 2026
Needs Survey Incentive
Thank you for taking part in the WentWest Needs Survey 2026. To acknowledge your time and insights, eligible participants who complete a survey can enter the draw to win one of five Apple Watches, with prize allocation assigned to each sector (General Practice x2, Allied Health x1, Residential Aged Care Homes x1, and Commissioned Service Providers x1).
Prize‑draw contact details are collected separately by our research provider, Outcome Services, and cannot be linked to your survey responses. Only one entry per person is permitted, and entrants must work within the Western Sydney Primary Health Network region.
Please refer to the full Terms and Conditions for complete details.

Completing the survey also helps inform a post‑survey report and news article that will share key insights and how we’re using your feedback to support health care in Western Sydney. Follow us on social media or sign up to our newsletter to stay updated when the findings are released.
