What is Provider Connect Australia?

WentWest, the Western Sydney Primary Health Network, has partnered with Provider Connect Australia (PCATM) to help transform data accuracy and increase digital health interoperability across the Australian healthcare ecosystem.

Provider Connect Australia™ is a cost free Australian Digital Health Agency initiative to help healthcare providers update their business information in a single place. 

A growing number of healthcare providers and business partners are using PCA™ to streamline their relationships and reduce their admin burden.  As more business partners come onboard, your up-to-date information can be automatically shared with services, including the National Health Services Directory’s Service Finder, nominated hospitals, pathology and radiology, secure messaging providers and more.

It is a secure, reliable and efficient way to help healthcare providers stay connected on a national scale. This saves time, reduces transcription errors and removes the hassle of filling out multiple forms. Security is a key design element of PCA that adheres to Australian Government security requirements.

How to Register to Provider Connect Australia

  1. Read the pre-registration checklist. A PRODA account is required to register.
  2. Already have a PRODA account? Start your PCATM Registration below. For instructions, see Register your organisation.
  3. Set up your organisation
  4. Maintain organisation details
  5. Once logged in to PRODA, simply go to the ‘PCA Tile’ and register
